“As part of a recent property-wide renovation that approached $100 million, Saddlebrook Resort, just north of Tampa, made major changes to its golf courses, paring 36 holes down to 27 to allocate more real estate to the resort’s practice facilities. The three nines that emerged from that work (Oak, Pine, Cypress) all stretch just beyond 3,500 yards, an intentional similarity that makes them interchangeable, allowing the resort to create three distinctive 18-hole championship routings.
